Our practitioners combine Five Element and Eight principle acupuncture to offer a truly comprehensive treatment approach to wellness. Combined with lifestyle coaching, this powerful combination of therapies is often what it takes to make real change in our lives.

We primarily use Five Element, which supports a person on a deep, constitutional level and is one of the most powerful treatment options for supporting the unity of one’s body with mind and spirit.

We observe many people in our modern world who are struggling to gain clarity about their life purpose. Even though they are functioning, they feel alienated, stagnant, stressed, overwhelmed and unable to move forward to fully embrace life. Five Element Acupuncture is primarily intended to get YOU back . . . the you that wants to grow, be healthy, and fully alive.

We incorporate Eight Principle Acupuncture when patients need more
immediate support for pain and symptoms because of its tremendous ability to relieve acute conditions.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

As one of the oldest known forms of healing, our ancestors relied exclusively on plants for maintaining health and overcoming illness. Chinese herbal medicine is
just as relevant to our well-being today. By supporting the healthy functioning of the body and nurturing its innate healing capacity, herbal medicine not only addresses manifesting symptoms but enhances the body's natural recuperative powers so
that underlying patterns of disharmony are also resolved.

Specifically tailored for your individual needs, herbs can support a wide range of issues including digestion, liver function, cardiovascular/circulatory function, pain
and inflammation, immune health, renal function, male and female reproductive function, skin, headaches/migraines, nervous system conditions and sleep.

Chinese herbs are prepared in many ways and can be taken internally as teas, powders, tinctures, and capsules as well applied externally as lotions, salves,
gels, or oils and added to baths or steams.

Massage Therapy

Experts estimate that upwards of ninety percent of disease is stress related.
Perhaps nothing ages us faster, internally and externally, than high stress. While eliminating anxiety and pressure altogether in this fast-paced world may be
idealistic, massage can help manage stress and result in:

 Decreased anxiety

  • Enhanced sleep quality
  • Greater energy
  • Improved concentration
  • Increased circulation
  • Reduced fatigue*

Clients often report a sense of perspective and clarity after receiving a massage.
The emotional balance bodywork provides can often be just as vital and valuable
as the more tangible, physical benefits.

In response to massage, specific physiological and chemical changes cascade throughout the body, with profound effects. Research continues to show the
enormous benefits of touch—which range from treating chronic diseases, neurological disorders, and injuries, to alleviating the tensions of modern lifestyles.

Regardless of the adjectives we assign to it—pampering, rejuvenating,
therapeutic or the reasons we seek it out, a luxurious treat, stress relief, or pain management, massage therapy can be a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen.

 Nutritional Counseling

We encourage all of our patients to choose an organic whole foods diet that minimizes sugars, white flour products, synthetic additives, or various ingredients
that are difficult to pronounce. This is universally beneficial to all people.

With that as a foundation, our goal is to help you find a balanced and authentic way to eat for life. We believe that nutritional guidance needs to be specific to you as an individual. There is no 'one size fits all' approach to the best way to eat,
because each of us has a different constitution.   Additionally, our relationship with food has so much to do with how well we are managing stress, expressing our emotions, and maintaining awareness of our core beliefs, which often points to a deeper imbalance that is taking place in the mind. Our goal is to support you on
this level so you can make lasting changes, possibly for the first time ever.

Stress Reduction Techniques

Acupuncture and massage are great ways to engage in deep relaxation without medication. We teach stress reduction techniques to help you let go of anxiety,
boost your energy and recharge. Many conditions improve with regular Qi Gong, yoga, breathing and meditation practices as they assist in restoring health,
balance, and awareness. Some conditions these techniques help include:
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Insomnia
  • Excessive Stress
  • Disconnection from life purposes
  • Low Self-Esteem
  • Chronic Pain
  • Mental Fogginess
  • Low Energy
